Full Sleeved, Double Open-Ended XRF Sample Cups Have Vented Snap-On Caps and Uniquely Integrated Internal Overflow Reservoirs
This Series represents the closest to perfection in XRF Sample Cup design and functionality. It incorporates all of the necessary features and attributes for accommodating the most diversified assortment of sample substances in air, vacuum or helium and greatly facilitates the sample preparation procedure.
Thin-Film Window Sleeve Attachment
The full sleeve is noted for accommodating virtually any type and gauge of thin-film window material; it forms and maintains flat sample planes for statistically reproducible sample-to-target distances. With each progressive step of attachment the window remains taut and at completion forms effective leak resistant seals. Any extraneous window material is enveloped between the full sleeve and cell minimizing or virtually eliminating the trimming process. An integrated flange on the cell behaves as a mechanical stop to prevent non-reproducible extensions when assembled.
Internal Overflow Reservoir Collects Over Pours and Serves as Fill Lines
The internal overflow reservoir is integrated within the sample cup cell. Any over pours are collected within the cell without opportunity to contaminate the optics of the x-ray system. The reservoir additionally serves as a practical approach to ensuring similar volume analysis.
Vented Snap-On Cap Form Internal Barriers
The Snap-On Cap has a through hole providing a venting passage for maintaining equalization of pressure between the sample cup and sample chamber ensuring a flat sample support plane. When assembled, a series of barriers is established to offer resistance to potential powdered sample displacement attributed to the initial surge of vacuum.
