Single Open-Ended 32 and 40 mm XRF Sample Cups Have Collars and Integrated External Overflow Reservoirs

A thermoplastic seal is centrally located within the integrated external reservoir for collecting spillages. Create a vent hole passage for maintaining pressure equalization between the sample cup and sample chamber by puncturing a hole through the thermoplastic seal.

Includes Snap-On Rings configured to correspond to the cells for making taut thin-film sample support planes for uniform sample-to-excitation source distance. The collar serve two functions: to retain the window in place in readiness for final attachment with Snap-On Rings; and for accommodating limited powdered or liquid droplet micro sample mounts “sandwiched” in between two layers of window material.

32 mm diameter XRF Sample cups with Snap-On Rings integrated with serrated cutting edges allow trimming assembled windows; eliminates handling annoying static prone window clippings.

Self-centering Vent Hole Punch conveniently creates a vent hole and a Palm Held Fastener or Snap-On Ring Fastener facilitates assembly.
