Full-Size Sleeves Attach and Envelop Thin-Film Windows to Single and Double-Open Ended XRF Sample Cups
Double Open-Ended sample cups enable pre-attachment of thin-film windows in advance for as many preparations required prior to filling with samples through the top opening. The full-length sleeves envelop the window film minimizing or completely eliminating trimming. Leak-resistant seals with flat sample window planes are formed with completion of progressive thin-film attachment. Use for containing powdered and non-volatile liquids in air or in helium.

The Single Open-Ended version integrates a thermoplastic venting seal within the external overflow reservoir. In vacuum or helium environments, creating a venting passage through the seal equalizes pressure differentials. This maintains a flat uniform sample plane-to-excitation source distance. The external reservoir collects spillages.
For applications requiring a Vented Snap-On Cap, the Cat. No. 1095 is a large volumetric capacity sample cup with full sleeve thin-film attachment convenience. Double Open-Ends enable pre-attachment of thin-film window material prior to filling with samples.
