Gyralgrinder® Sample Comminution Grinder

Comminute cement, raw mix, sinters, slags, rocks, ceramics and innumerable types of traditional and hard to grind samples in moments. Reduce sample particles to a uniform size, configuration and distribution for a thoroughly homogeneous mixture for direct XRF analysis. The grinding process takes place in a vessel equipped with a solid puck and ring. The mechanics of the GyralGrinder creates a very energetic force that translates to the grinding vessel. The vessel and contained puck, ring and sample collide with each other out of phase. The entrapped sample cannot elude the impact and mulling actions. Comminution is very effective and time efficient.

Heavy gauge steel construction, acoustical lining, locking latches, pressurized gas lid springs, casters for moving into position, leveling legs and safety features. CE Certified.

	Easy-to-Use Grinding Dish Clamp Easily remove the comminution dish by use of a uniquely designed single one-hand operated lever mechanism that also serves to securely keep the vessel in place during operation. The entire clamping mechanism swings away for complete unobstructed access to the working chamber. Access to the working chamber is by lifting the cover. Pressurized gas springs hold it in place. A single one-hand operated lever firmly secures the vessel in place and is also used to lock for removal.
	Variable Intensity Of Impact Control The flexibility of variable intensity of impact control provides a means for handling sample substances ranging from soft to extremely hard. The grinding process is controllable from a gentle motion to extremely energetic. Minimizes wear to the grinding vessel and transition element contamination to the sample.
	Designed for Operator Comfort Ergonomic design reduces operator fatigue by allowing upright standing posture attendance. The operating controls are located on the front panel integrated with the lid; mains, intensity of impact control, electronic LCD timer with audible cycle completion alarm. The lid opens from front to rear allowing operator close access to the working chamber. Two latches keep lid secure.
